Vegemite Tales

On Saturday night John and Kirsty joined Shannon and I to go and see Vegemite Tales.
It’s a play about a share house in west London, and about some of the typical experiences that people have in these sorts of share houses. I was hesitant to go and watch ex-Big-Brother-contestant-turned-Neighbours-actor-turned-Thespian, Blair McDonough, but it wasn’t all bad.

Notting Hill Carnival

I’d never been to the Notting Hill carnival, so Shan and I headed down there on Sunday to check it out.

The festival covers a huge area, but is still very busy. There are little street parties everywhere, as well as the parade of floats and colourful dancers which travel around a set route all weekend.

Harrods Chocolate Bar

On Saturday arvo I took Shannon to the Harrods Chocolate bar. As a chocoholic, she did appreciate it.
I only stumbled across the chocolate bar when Nic and I were wandering around Harrods the other weekend when rain cancelled all our other plans. It’s on the second floor somewhere, hidden away in the complex maze that is Harrods.

Brighton with Nic

Nic and I headed down to Brighton on Sunday for a day trip.
The last time I went there was in winter nearly 2 years ago, and it was much nicer this time! I still can’t stand the stupid pebble beach, but it was a good day out of London. Thanks Nic!
